YOUR IMPACT
Why We Clip In
When you or someone you love receives a diagnosis of cancer, the news can be devastating. When we Clip In, we’re doing it for the father who wants to be able to walk his daughter down the aisle one day, the mother who wants to see her children graduate college, the little boy who wants to grow up to be an athlete and so many more.
A world without cancer is our ultimate goal. Together, we can help cancer patients become cancer survivors.

LeighEllen
When LeighEllen Blevins and her husband got married in July 2020, they never anticipated that the first year of their marriage would include a cancer diagnosis. Just five weeks after their wedding, LeighEllen learned she had ovarian cancer. With the world-class care at Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, LeighEllen began chemotherapy treatments. In January 2021, she completed treatment and has been in remission ever since. Today, LeighEllen serves on our Clip In 4 the Cure planning committee along with her husband and her doctor.

Cale
Cale was 10 when he started to have terrible headaches and nausea. He was taken to a local emergency room, and a scan revealed that he had two brain tumors. He was referred to Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt for advanced care, and a biopsy confirmed that the tumors were cancer. Cale bravely underwent chemotherapy, blood infusions, countless doctor visits and radiation. Today, he is cancer-free and thriving in high school, where he plays both football and basketball.
